2 Corinthians 4:8

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not
abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.

I love this verse. Think about the people in Haiti???  Wow, they have got to be saddened and having feelings of despair but they seem to still have a peace and joy.
I found this verse when i had feelings of not being able to go on another day because of circumstances around me. I felt pressed, crushed, perplexed, persecuted and struck down!  In the old testament people would rip their
garments as a sign of total despair when they felt nothing else could be done and all was lost. Total sadness.
Our Heavenly Father promises that He will never let us go through more than we can bear. He wont let us be crushed. Ever. But He does allow us to be pressed, thats what causes me to tap into His strength, His ways
and His love.  Thank you Jesus for pressing me right into your arms!
